Whitby's Story

Whitby Tousignant led an extraordinary life. Born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, he faced a number of health challenges. With love and care from family, friends, and healthcare providers, Whit was able to thrive and bring tremendous joy to others during his short life.

While we had to say goodbye to Whit in January of 2012, his happy, smiling spirit lives on through the charitable and community activities carried out in his memory.

This website is about how we can all carry the joy Whitby brought to others in his life, and to see how his spirit lives on in all that we do together. 

Each year, we have a blood drive on Whitby's birthday in late June. We invite you to donate blood. Or, you can donate any time to a fund at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in his memory.
